I take great care in partnering with organisations with a commitment to ethical standards and preserving artisan skills within the community. I’m proud and thoroughly grateful to work with an incredibly talented, professional and caring team to realise ESKO products – collaborating with Gaya Ceramics was key in turning the initial concepts into reality and achieving the final product. There is also a certain depth in knowing each piece is made in a supportive community environment. The ceramics themselves are individually hand-made using a combination of methods, on the wheel and by hand using high-grade durable porcelain.
